Twin Decks was born completely by accident… and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’ve been obsessed with music my whole life — it’s how I relax, reset, and stay motivated. Honestly, it was the only thing that could get me to focus at school. With a dad who’s always loved music too, it was pretty much inevitable I’d end up living and breathing it.
 

At around 11, I started messing about on online radio stations and loved it… but there was one problem — you can’t feel the vibe through a screen, and there’s nothing worse than playing a “banger” to absolutely nobody.
 

Then at 16, everything changed. I was at a family event where the DJ didn’t turn up (classic), so I jumped in with the gear I already had at home and kept the party going. That moment made it click — this is what I’m meant to do. And funnily enough, we still step in to save the day when other companies let people down.
 

A few months later I had a full setup, started doing parties for friends and family, then took a break for uni and work (because being 18–20 is basically a full-time job on its own).
 

At 21, I got asked to DJ a 21st birthday. I tried to say no… but got talked into it — and that’s when Twin Decks was officially born, alongside my business partner Tom. Within 6 months we were fully booked, and things grew so fast we had to split up and DJ separately.
 

Fast forward to today — we’ve now delivered entertainment at over 4,000 events. We run a team of 7 full-time DJs, work with a solid network of sub-contract DJs, and operate 3 photo booths on a regular basis — bringing the full entertainment package to every event we’re part of.
 

And we’re only getting started.
